To make Halloween more entertaining and lively, why not make some Halloween appetizers that you can actually offer in different occasions, such as birthdays, picnics, or even afternoon or dinner bashes? These appetizers are easy to prepare. You should definitely try some of the following:

1.    Pumpkin Pancakes. Put one cup of ready-mix pancake into a bowl. Add ground cinnamon, skimmed milk, nutmeg, egg white, ginger, and pumpkin. Blend the ingredients until smooth. Pour onto the griddle and bake for 10 minutes until the top portion is dry and the sides are golden brown.

2.    Black and Orange Pinwheels
. In a bowl, combine thoroughly the bell pepper, Feta cheese, cream cheese, and black olives, and then spread the mixture evenly onto 5 wheat tortillas. Layer each tortilla with creamy cheese and then spread a thin layer of the tapenade. For a finishing touch, place chopped carrot on top of the tapenade. Gently roll each tortilla wrap tightly, sealing the ends firmly. Wrap in a plastic and chill overnight. Slice the rolled tortillas and serve cold.

3.    Choco Jack-o-Lanterns. Slice off the top part of an orange and scrape off with a spoon. Carve out a favorite funny face and fill with chocolate ice cream or any favorite flavor. Freeze until you are ready to eat them.

4.    Pumpkin Bread. Mix together about 2 cups of mashed pumpkins, eggs, sugar, shortening, baking soda, baking powder, cloves, and salt. Pour the mixture onto a large bread pan and bake at 350 degrees Celsius for an hour.

5.    Black Cats. Whip together 2 cups of sugar, cocoa powder, half a cup of milk, and margarine. Boil the mixture well. While it is simmering, add peanut butter and a drop of vanilla extract. Add quick oats and stir well. Roll crushed nuts while the mixture is still warm. Have a litter scoop sitting next to it for guests to help themselves.

6.    Pita Pizza.
Make a zigzag pattern on the bottom edges of halved Pita bread. Top it with tomato ketchup, mozzarella cheese, black and green olives. Bake until cheese is melted. Serve it shaped like a bat with wings on the sides of the plate.

These are only some delicious ideas you can make for your appetizers, which can entirely be fun to serve even on different occasions that calls for dining and getting together. They are easy to make and are a great addition to the regular dishes that you serve.
