Many internet marketers are using blogs to establish branding rather than to sell their products or services blatantly. Unlike conventional websites, the blog’s conversational tone and approach enable its readers to become part of the whole “play.” Blogging is a serious issue, so I thought of writing a post that talks about it.

If you are selling a product or service like a hotcake, people must have trusted you. This is a crucial element, because without it, you won’t make a dime. Your clients would like to know more about you. It’s the foundation of every successful business. Allow your visitors to look into your “human side” occasionally. You don’t need to post a whole bunch of pictures or brag about anything. Perhaps sharing a photograph of your last trip or personal insights should suffice.

Case Studies and Stories

Some people don’t like personal stories such as your struggles or whatnot. They’re more interested to learn things that affect their business. Why not use recent events, experiences, case studies, etc. to accomplish this task. This way, they’ll be able to connect their thoughts with yours and arrive at a meaningful connection.

Become an Authority

It takes time and perseverance to become one, but the rewards can be outstanding. Live up to the people’s expectations, and show your convictions towards them and your craft. You must be able to connect to your blog followers individually.

Share your Knowledge

Don’t hesitate to share your expertise. Oftentimes, bloggers feel that intangible information has to be compensated and until that happens, there’s no way of such trading to take place. The fact that people can sense this greediness is already a deterrent that you are more interested to make money from them rather than to share valuable information. If you want to gain credibility, be generous at the same time.
