Making Money with Articles: How Much Can I Make?

February 26, 2009 by Anna · Leave a Comment

Most often than not, one of the many questions running around an aspirant webmaster’s mind is “How much can I make?” The amount of revenues one can get from placing affiliate links and articles in his website varies from the others. Your income is basically dependent on how successful your site is. If your site gets good search engine rankings with your SEO efforts, has enjoyable, informative and engaging content, and hangs around an immense niche subject, you are more likely to make a handsome amount of income. And the size and number of your sites also affect the raise or the drop off of your revenues.

Some very successful website owners claim that they are earning as much as $10,000 a month, summing up to $120,000 per annum through creating and promoting niche sites. But this is not the case of everybody in this business. People who are still new to this kind of business don’t easily get this successful since this kind of success demands experience and acquired skills. After working for a few months to gain site traffic and hook up with an army of great affiliates, you can expect a reasonable income of $500-$1,000 per month. It’s not bad at all because this is a recurring income, and thus you are assured of getting that much every month for the efforts you exerted on that one site.

The more sites you build the higher the income you can produce. Thus, it is wise to continue building niche sites after bringing up your first site to success. While some people prefer to create seemingly fast and short sites over the ones that are pretty longer in length, it should be known that larger sites are more likely to generate great income.

If you are still a newbie on this kind of business, you should bear in mind that building your first site will always be at your hardest. This is because you are still acquiring the skills and learning the ropes of the business. And you also have to be open-minded and acknowledge the fact that not everyone is meant for marketing and promoting niche sites. Though there might be a tendency for you to end up on the losing end, you should take the risk if you really want to see yourself in the world of business like this. What really matters the most is that you don’t give up too easily.
