If you want to succeed in any business, it’s hard to overlook the importance of the Internet as a major source of information. Using the Internet to promote your properties will be a great boost to your business, not only locally, but worldwide.
In order to gain a great amount of traffic to your site, you can use any of these tips or use all of them to bring people to your website.
1. Make sure that you place your website address in key materials like your business stationery, newsletters or anything that you might use for advertising your business. You can also name drop or direct your callers in your on-hold or after business hours telephone recordings.
2. Do not forget to include you web address in any press releases or any articles that you publish. Readers will be able to check your site right away if they want to find out more about your business.
If you have the opportunity of participating in a radio interview, ask the interviewer to mention your website or you can do it yourself somewhere in the interview, just make sure to be subtle about it.
3. Place your web address under your email signature since this might trigger the recipient’s curiosity and encourage them to click it and check your site out.
You can also talk about particular properties or any upcoming auctions in your email signature, although this subject would require a separate article.
4. Mention your web address in your networking commercials or when you meet people and you talk about your business. You can also hand out a business card afterward so that you can reinforce your message.
5. If you create business shirts, include your logo and company name.
6. If you have a staff, then make sure their tags incorporate the web address as well. This will show great visibility for your company.
7. When speaking in public, let the announcer who will introduce you, mention your web address.
8. Although others might say it’s crass, you can also include your website address in your car signage. This is beneficial if there’s another motorist who might see it and actually visit your site. However, it could be bad publicity if you are caught in a traffic violation incident.
9. Create back links to client’s sites, referrers and other prospects.
10. Create a newsletter and always update the content of your site or any changes you make in your site. Also, give visitors a chance to sign up for this newsletter.
Giving them this opportunity will also allow you to get their information for reference later on.
